Besides being my middle name (Ponte), the word "Pont" has roots in several languages, mainly from Latin, which means "bridge." Derivatives such as "pontiff" (pope or bishop, from the Latin "pontifex," meaning "bridge maker"), "pontifex" itself comes from "pons" (bridge) and "facere" (to make), which reflects the role of priests in Roman society as bridge builders, both literally and metaphorically.

This description forms the essence of my work as a Systemic & Family Constellations Facilitator: to help individuals and groups become aware and reconnect to roots of their systems (family, home, nation, business, issue, craft), acknowledge such influences in their hearts, and once freed from any entanglements or patterns that might be holding them back, to empower them to bridge their authentic individuality with their ancestors.

The principles and techniques used (both in-person and online) result from the work of German psychologist Bert Hellinger, who founded the Family Constellations modality after decades of theoretical and practical research, thousands of hours of field observations in group therapy and family dynamics and workshops he conducted all over the world. About Me

Son of Ricardo and Yara, both entrepreneur and daring individuals at heart, I was born into a family where excitement were part of daily life. My father, born in Rio de Janeiro, was naturally charismatic, funny and a high-energy individual. He built his own technology company from the ground up and sold it 10 years later at its peak when it employed over 3,000 people. My mother, born in São Paulo, was a high achiever with a keen sense of justice and practicality in all she worked with. She taught music for 20 years at a private school to thousands of children and later, when we moved to the U.S., she decided to become a realtor and sell real estate to her friends and acquaintances. To this day, she plays the piano and I the violin, an we occasionally gather to play upload some of our duets (she on piano, I on the violin) to YouTube.

As a binational, immigrant, classical musician (violin and piano), conductor, composer, entrepreneur, spirituality student, New York City real estate broker, manager, podcaster and speaker, I was born in São Paulo, Brazil and emigrated to the U.S. with my family at age thirteen.

Since early childhood, I noticed my artistic sensibility and found in music a language to understand the world around me. As I became an adult, I developed my communication skills further and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business & Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.

In 2007, after being hired as general manager of a symphony orchestra based in New York City, I moved there, expanded my leadership skills and began my own concert production company. After the 2008 financial crisis dried up arts sponsorships, I turned in 2011 to residential real estate sales and began to assist my mother’s clients in New York City.

In 2020, I began to study and train in Family Constellation work. I discovered a natural affinity and awareness of individuals’ needs through the work Bert Hellinger, which enhanced my own skills as a communicator, musician and entrepreneur.

My clients include bilingual expats, individuals with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations as well as anyone who wishes to learn more about themselves and their issues through the systemic lens of Family Constellations.

I conduct in-person group workshops in New York City, São Paulo, Brazil, and host a spirituality and music podcast online called Spirit Reflections, where I regularly invite leaders from an array of disciplines, including Family Constellations to have fireside conversations.
